LESSON 5- What is it? (this / that) A Typical conversation, asking and stating what something is in Japanese.
Conversation 1
Eriko: Kore wa nan desu ka? Tatsuya: Sore wa boku no omamori desu. Eriko: Kore wa? Tatsuya: Meishi desu.
Eriko: What is this? Tatsuya: That's my good luck charm. Eriko: And this? Tatsuya: It's a business card.
Conversation 2 Tatsuya: Sore wa nan desu ka? Eriko: Kore wa watashi no nihon ningyou desu. Tatsuya: Sore wa? Eriko: Okashi desu.
Tatsuya: What is that? Eriko: This is my Japanese doll. Tatsuya: And that? Eriko: It's candy.
